COOKIE NOTICE
This notice lists the cookies and browser storage the Pagelove console uses, what each one is for and how long it lasts. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data.
Your choice
The first time you visit the console, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. You can accept them, reject them, or choose in the preferences.
Until you accept, we do not load our analytics service, PostHog. No request reaches PostHog and nothing of PostHog's is stored in your browser.
You can change your choice at any time. Select Cookie settings at the bottom of any console page. If you reject analytics after accepting them, we tell PostHog to stop collecting. The items PostHog stored before then stay in your browser until they expire or you clear them, but nothing more is sent.
What we store
Necessary cookies make the console work. We do not ask for your consent to use them, because the console cannot work without them.
| Name | What it is for | Category | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
pagelove_session or __Host-session | Keeps you signed in, and tells our servers that a series of requests comes from one visit. | Necessary | Up to 1 year. Signing out ends the sign-in it holds. |
pagelove_passkey_binding | Links the steps of a passkey sign-in, so a sign-in cannot be finished from another browser. | Necessary | 5 minutes, while you sign in. |
cc_cookie | Remembers your cookie choice, so we do not ask again on every page. | Necessary | 6 months. |
ph_<project key>_posthog | Counts visits and pages, and recognises a returning visitor. It is a cookie and an item of local storage with the same name. | Analytics | 1 year, and set only once you accept analytics. |
ph_<project key>_posthog__flags | Holds PostHog's settings for your visit. It is an item of local storage. | Analytics | Until it is replaced or you clear it, and set only once you accept analytics. |
__ph_opt_in_out_<project key> | Tells PostHog to stop collecting. It is an item of local storage. | Necessary | Set only when you reject analytics after accepting them. It stays until you clear it. |
What analytics records
When you accept analytics, PostHog records the pages you visit and when. It does not record what you type or click. We replace each page address with the name of the screen, so PostHog never sees the name of a host, an organisation or a user.
